Happy belated Mother’s Day to all of our favorite* moms. We hope you relaxed yesterday, because we *know* you’ve earned it.
This weekend was awesome for Heather and I. We celebrated her birthday (on May 8th) and Mother’s Day combined with an ultra-relaxing weekend without the kids.
Ella and Sam spent the weekend with Heather’s folks, and we got things done around the house and enjoyed the quiet time. The highlights included going for a three-hour lazy canoe trip. We are use to doing extensive, long-weekend canoe trips which include paddling against the wind in lakes, upstream along rivers, against the rain, and portaging miles through mud and forest in Southern Ontario. This trip was the exact opposite. It laid back fun in the sun along the Harpeth River. Thanks to the nice people at The Foggy Bottom Canoe Rental.
After the canoe trip we went out for an amazing Italian meal at Cafe Nonna in Nashville. The restaurant was quaint, service sweet and food excellent. We had considered going to a 10pm movie after the dinner, but as you parents know, sleep is extremely valuable and sought after, so we head home.
Sunday was spent at a State Park with Heather’s parents, sister and her husband and kids, and of course, Ella and Sam. We had a great picnic as we tried to celebrate how incredible our moms our. Mine is on her way here next week to visit for a couple of weeks, we’re all very excited about that too.
All in all it was a grand Mother’s Day weekend. We hope you had a great one too. Let us know what you got up to, what did your husband and kids do to help celebrate?
Cheers,
Dave & Heather

Our K7 number has died (again). For those who don’t know it, K7 is a free service we use to manage our audio comment line. The number has been disconnected a few times over the years, because it has to be used once a month to keep operational. Since, we haven’t been pumping out episodes frequently and we’ve had no new messages in a few weeks, they’ve disconnected it again.
The trouble is that each time the number gets killed the actual number gets killed. Meaning we need to set up a new account with a new number. Then we need to update it on our show notes and on the site.
Long story short we’re going to stop taking audio comments through K7. If you have one you wish to send please do so by recording a short clip and send it to us via email: boobsbaby AT gmail.com. Thanks.

Hi there. A quick note to say that we’re still alive. Dave is blogging quite a lot at Dave Made That and on Twitter far too often at: www.twitter.com/davedelaney. Drop by and say hello.
Heather is up to her ears in diapers and wipes. Not to mention going crazy now that the kids are home for the summer from Mother’s Day Out. So much for days out, eh?
We’ll have a new episode up as soon as we can. Please stay subscribed and tell your friends.
Cheers,
Dave & Heather
